Gary has experience in all practice areas of the firm and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice for both criminal and civil matters. Using his extensive experience in business and real estate, Gary is actively involved with commercial and real estate transactions from the initial stages of the deal to the final closing.

Education and Experience

Gary Anandasangaree was called to the Bar in 2005 and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University and an LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Before entering private practice, Gary has worked for the Ontario Ministry of Labour. . Prior to entering law school, Gary was immersed in real estate as a Registered Real Estate Broker under the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act from 1996 to 2006. In addition to the practice of Law, Gary lectures at the Centennial College Centre for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Professional and Business Affiliations

Gary is currently the President of the Canadian Tamil’s Chamber of Commerce, member of the Toronto Board of Trade, South Asian Bar Association and the Toronto City Summit’s Emerging Leaders Network.

Gary Anandasangaree volunteers with a number of community organizations. He was on the board of the Youth Challenge Fund, Coordinator and Head of the Canadian Tamil Youth Development Centre and served on the Newcomer Grants for the United Way of Greater Toronto. He has been the recipient of several community awards, including the TREB Award , Golden Jubilee and the Henry Marshall Tory Award for Service.
